Holy melee · healer

A holy warrior who fights beside you and mends you between fights. Slays the impure with a strength-based swing and holy bolts.

Can equipSwords, great swords, hammers, short staffs and staves. Any shield except grimoires, orbs, quivers and powder bags.

Support · ranged

Fights from behind you and makes everyone around them better at it — songs that hasten allies and songs that mend them.

Can equipCrossbows (hand, repeating), daggers. Quivers, daggers, rapiers, and light shields.

Blades · powder

A sea-fighter equally happy with steel, shot and explosives. Grenades and explosive rounds; no patience for a fair duel.

Can equipRapiers, swords, daggers, pistols, revolvers, muskets and rifles. Any shield except grimoires, orbs and quivers.

Nomad

Trapper · scout

A desert survivor: dust traps on the approach, a mirage ward when it goes wrong, and a flare when it goes very wrong.

Can equipBows, rapiers and daggers. Quivers and light shields.

Astral caster

An old scholar of astral magic who has stopped explaining himself. Casts from the back and expects you to hold the front.

Can equipWands (bone, crystal). Orbs, grimoires and light shields.
