Fenfire is a free action RPG in the spirit of Diablo 2 that runs in your browser — no install, no download. This is its Codex: The affix pools every magic, enchanted and rare item rolls from in Fenfire, a free browser ARPG with Diablo 2-style itemization.
Every magic, enchanted and rare item draws its lines from one pool per slot. These are those pools. Click any line, anywhere in the Codex, to see every source it can come from.
A line's band opens up with the item's level. At level 1 it rolls in the bottom fifth of its window; by level 80 it rolls between a quarter of its cap and the cap — so an endgame drop can never roll near-zero, and an early drop can never roll an endgame number. Drag the slider to watch a pool grow.
The bands shown are the rare register. Magic and enchanted items roll fewer lines on a doubled register, so a single line there can reach twice as far.
A scroll of corruption adds exactly one line from the short list below, and it is the only way to get those lines. The roll is taken at full strength whatever the item's level, so these bands do not move with the slider. An item can only be corrupted once, and a corrupted item can never be enchanted or augmented again.
25% of the time the item breaks: it drops one quality tier (unique → rare → enchanted → magic → normal) and every other affix is rerolled from scratch. The corruption line survives that — a bricked unique keeps it.
Every base in this slot rolls the pool above, but some bend it — these ones weight a few lines far more heavily, or never roll them at all.
